College For The Masses? (So Says The Upper Classes)

At Yale Law School, while students who were serious about a career in the law pursued positions at the Law Review, I got involved with the Law Revue – the end-of-year show that was a send-up of the faculty and the year’s major’s events. As a 1L, I wrote a parody of Welcome Back Kotter called Welcome Back Carter, starring my brother, who did a pretty good Stephen Carter impression, suddenly responsible for teaching intellectual property to Vinny Barbarino and the Sweathogs. It was stupid and funny enough that the next year’s show was handed to me.
