G&T, Cosmo, Mojito - We're Talking Popcorn, Not Cocktails

Gin & Tonic, Cosmopolitan, Mojito...take your pick, except we're talking popcorn, not cocktails. “Selling popcorn to Americans feels like selling coal to Newcastle,” British entrepreneur Joseph Sopher tells me. He’s not wrong. Americans have been eating popcorn since the late 19th century. During the Depression, it was one of few affordable luxuries. It’s been a popular American snack ever since, which is why Sopher still finds hit hard to believe he gets 20-30 orders from the US every month for his Joe & Seph’s gourmet popcorn. His alcoholic popcorn could be one reason it sells so well, but more on that later.
