Attracting And Retaining Top Female Talent

A few weeks ago I wrote an article and created an infographic around Why The Future Of Our Organizations Depends On Having More Women In Management. Recently Vodafone announced a new policy were women will received at least 16 weeks of paid maternity leave as well as full pay for a 30 hour week for the first six months after returning from maternity leave. No company in the world has announced this type of a policy in the past, in fact usually women have to negotiate their maternity leave with their respective managers. KPMG did some analysis on this and found this new policy could save businesses up to $19 billion annually by implementing this kind of a policy. Why? Because women will stay at the company which means spending less time and money trying to recruiting new top talent.
