One Stanford Grad's Path To A Job At Red-Hot Xiaomi

Hong Kong native Alvin Tse left home in 2006 for Stanford University, where holds an undergraduate degree in management and engineering.  Like many in Silicon Valley, he had an early passion in life for entrepreneurism. In 2009, he co-founded ThinkBulbs Inc.,  which developed two popular photography apps and was acquired by Megatasty Labs in 2011. And like many U.S. grads that hail from Asia, Tse was eventually pulled into China’s powerful economic gravity. Tse later took a job at news-aggregating-app Flipboard of Palo Alto but that led to a promotion and relocation to Beijing.
