When I conceptualized building a clothing brand, I knew I had to prove that I could create a standout product. I also knew that magazine editors and celebrities have access to the best fashion products in the world. If they wore or featured your product over the plethora of garments they see daily, it symbolized being the best of the best. After securing press placements as proof of concept, I would then raise the capital I needed to build a brand.
